Eli and Nick both signed my comfy sweater that I bought when I saw them in Milwaukee! I’m so glad I got to see them during my time studying abroad in Sweden. We totally bonded over the Midwest being awesome. I mean, midwest coast equals the best coast!

So, Linnaeus University has this program where you can be matched up with a Swedish Buddy, so you have at least one Swedish friends because they tend to be quite shy and won’t approach most international students. Well, I met with mine today and she was nice enough to give me her old phone for me to use! The University already gave me a free SIM card, so I’m good to go!
So, come at me Swedes, I have a working phone.

FIRST LEGAL DRINK ALERT! So, in Sweden, you can buy large quantities of alcohol from the government run alcohol store when you are 20 years old. I am 19 (which also means I can’t drink back in the US) so thankfully while at restaurants and clubs and such, when you are 18, you can buy drinks! So, tonight at one of the pubs/clubs on campus was open tonight and I bought my first legal drink!

So, I had orientation today! Soooo much information thrown at me for six hours…anyways, afterwards, I went to the supermarket just off campus with some girls and one of them was from the US as well! (Oregon to be exact!) So, the market looked super modern and they had things like deli meat and fruits behind these plastic windows where you had to use a scanner to open it up. ALSO, I bought this flavored water, not entirely sure on the flavor (I guessed persika was peach and I was right!) I just find it really cool that the bottle is all in swedish :)
